What is Christian Counseling? Christian counseling combines professional counseling techniques and biblical principles.
Do I have to be a Christian to use your services? My services are available to everyone with respect for your beliefs.
How do I refer someone to Seeds of Hope?
Most of my clients find me through referrals from friends, pastors, or physicians, and I always welcome new clients with open arms. If you know someone who might benefit from my services, invite them to contact me.
How do I make an appointment? You can schedule an appointment by calling me at (980) 521-6713 or clicking here.
Do you offer online appointments? Yes, remote counseling sessions via Telehealth are available for North Carolina and South Carolina residents. Telehealth uses secure video communications to engage in clinical services. We can do this through HIPPA-compliant video conferencing. As a new client, how long do I have to wait for an appointment? Intake and initial appointments vary based on my current client load. Scheduling will be based on your availability as well as my schedule. How much does therapy cost? Our fees are consistent with other professional counseling services in the Mooresville area. If you are unable to schedule an appointment due to financial restrictions, we can discuss your specific circumstances when you call.
Will my visits be covered by insurance? No. Currently I do not accept any insurance.
How long does therapy take? The length of treatment depends on many factors and is primarily determined by the nature of your issue and your level of motivation. Many contributing factors come into play when determining the duration of treatment, such as the severity of your symptoms, or how long the problem has been going on, your personal motivation etc.
Does Seeds of Hope prescribe medication? No. There are times when medications may be appropriate and in those cases your counselor will refer you to a physician.
How can I find out more about depression, eating disorders, and other mental health issues? While you can find an abundance of information on the internet, be cautious that you are reading information from a reliable source. The best source for reliable information is from trusted professionals rather than reading information posted by individuals. Feel free to click on the professional organizations I am associated with for further information.
What if I have questions other than the ones answered above? Give me a call. You’re under no obligation to use my services. Providing HOPE and a source of healing is my calling. Whether you become one of my clients or not, I want to offer guidance and am privileged to have the opportunity to serve you. You can also e-mail me.
Please note that I cannot provide you with counseling advice over the phone or via e-mail. However, I am happy to answer questions pertaining to my services.
